What a beautiful family I have!

One of my favorite things about Easter is the new dresses and clothes for the kids. They both looked so cute! (or handsome in Sean's case)They were not to thrilled to be posing together.
Doesn't he look handsome? It is hard to believe that he will be 8 soon. He is growing up so fast! Beautiful princess! I just love this dress. You can't see the neat design at the top of the dress, but I love it. Aunt Kimmy curled her hair that day which topped it all off. What a beauty!

Claire and Adan. These two love each other! Whenever they are together they are trying to hug and love on each other. They are so cute! I am so happy that my kids have cousins that are so close that they get to be such great friends.

Easter Morning

Sean was so excited to find a baseball bat in his basket. How did the Easter Bunny know he has been begging for one?
Sleeping Beauty striking a pose with her basket. New pink shimmery crocs for her! Hop for us Claire!

Adan, Claire, Andres and Sean with their baskets.
All the cousins were down for Easter. They all had fun hunting for their baskets.

I think Claire found and ate all of the Peeps she could that day. No wonder she was so wired!

Coloring Easter Eggs

You can't have Easter without coloring eggs! Sean, Claire & their cousin Carlie had fun dying eggs all sorts of fun colors. Some had more patience than others to wait for bright colors but it was fun.
SeanClaireCarlieSean and his pile of eggs!Claire's pile of eggs!Aunt Kelsey & Uncle Matt had more fun than the kids. She showed them how to draw on the eggs with a crayon before coloring them so it leaves a cool design. Thanks Aunt Kelsey! "Quiet Mouse"
This is Sean staring down Aunt Gina determined not to be the first to make a sound. I thought it was pretty hilarious. He got really into it an held his own for quite awhile against her. Score is 2 to 1 in favor of Aunt Gina. I think there will be a rematch in the future!!!

Easter Egg Hunt Fun!

Sean & Claire after the annual Easter Egg Hunt at Sorosis Park. We did not make it to Claire's time slot (She chose that time to melt down at home!) and she was too scared to run out with Sean in his group. She was very upset that she did not have any treats. A wonderful little boy and girl at the park shared their candy with her when they saw how upset she was. What kindness! She was very happy after this. Sean on a mad hunt for eggs and candy!

Wicked

My mom, Gina and I went for a Girls' afternoon out to see the Broadway musical 'Wicked'. It was amazing. It really made you realize that you can't believe everything you hear about people. The Wicked Witch was only portrayed this way after standing up for what was right. I will never think of the 'Wizard of Oz' the same. It was so much fun. I can't wait to find something else to go to see. Thanks to Nana and Poppa for taking Sean & Claire so I could have some adult fun! (P.S. A BIG Thank you to Gina for fixing my blog! Now I get to post lots of fun stuff!)

Sean's Little League Opening Ceremonies 2009

Sean had his opening ceremonies for the Little League here in The Dalles. He is the first kid running onto the field after his coach. He is very excited about playing this year. He thinks it is "rockin' cool" that Max, his best friends from school is on his team. This is his third year playing (1st year was T-Ball). Games start in about another week. He has a new mit that he has been refusing to use. Uncle Corey was great and worked with him today on how to wear it correctly and I think he will use it now. Thanks Uncle Corey! What a handsome boy! ( Sean is the third from the left in back) The Opening Pitch was thrown by a local hero Christian Bagge. He was injured in Iraq in 2005 and lost both legs. He has a pretty amazing story. Let the games begin!
